Withdrawals

By registering for a month of lessons, classes or ensembles the student is obligated to fulfill their commitment. To withdraw, notice must be given in writing to Mullins Music. If notice of withdrawal is given at least 24 hours before the start of the first lesson, class or ensemble a full refund will be given. All tuition paid, minus the cost of one lesson, class or ensemble will be refunded if notice of withdrawal is given 48 hours before the start of the second lesson, class or ensemble. After two lessons, classes or ensembles have been completed, no refunds will be given for the remainder of the month.

Absences

Regular attendance is a critical part of the learning process at Mullins Music. Please make every effort to attend your scheduled lesson time. If you cannot attend a lesson for any reason, please notify Mullins Music as far in advance as possible by calling 727.856.0263. Prior notification does not exempt students from payment. Students are charged for all the lessons for which they register, including those missed through student absence. If a teacher is absent, the lesson will be made up at a mutually convenient time before the end of the month. If the teacher is unable to make up the lesson, the student's account will be credited.

Make Up Lessons

A total of 2 makeup lessons are allowed per semester. Makeups must be scheduled during the semester in which they occur; make-up credit may not be carried into the following semester. If you need to cancel or reschedule a lesson, please make sure to provide 24 hours notice to receive credit for the lesson. Families are expected to pay for the entire semester in which they are enrolled.

Media Release

Unless Mullins Music is given advance written notice to the contrary, students give consent for Mullins Music to take photos, audio or video footage of classes, lessons, ensembles and or/concerts without advance notice and to publish such photos, audio and video footage royalty-free in its print, audio and electronic promotional efforts, including its website. This consent also authorizes release from any expectation of confidentiality for minor children if a parent or legal guardian.

Cell Phones

Parents and students who use cellular phones are asked to turn them off during classes or lessons unless they are waiting for an emergency call.
